Product Overview

ASR 9006 DC Chassis with PEM Version 2

The Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Router system provides unsurpassed 10GE and 100GE scale and density. The Cisco ASR 9006 and 9010 routers provide an in-place upgrade roadmap to higher density of 10GE and 100GE ports without the need for a complete chassis replacement. These line cards, offered in base and extended-scale configurations, are complemented by the nonblocking fabric (on the Route Switch Processor [RSP] for the Cisco 9006 and 9010 routers and on separate fabric cards for the Cisco 9922 router), and by the innovative backplane (BP), thermal, and power infrastructure on the chassis.

  • Rack-mountable feature for convenient and safe installation of the router
  • Built-in power supply to ensure all components are being supplied with accurate voltage
  • With the versatile chassis, build a network that suits your needs by installing multiple modules and have more flexibility in expanding your router when required
