Product Overview

GIGABIT ETHERNET LH MINI-GBIC SFP TRANSCEIVER REMANUFACTURED

This easy-to-install Mini-GBIC (or SFP) module provides a simple way to add Gigabit functionality to your Linksys switch. Gigabit fiber is often used to connect two switches together. The technology used depends on the distance between the two switches. The LH module uses 1310 nanometer wavelength light in multimode or single-mode fiber optic cables, and can achieve distances up to 500 meters or 40 kilometers, depending on the fiber used.

  • Up to 10x faster than standard Ethernet connection and provides high-performance
  • With its thicker diameter to carry the light of multiple wavelengths, multi-mode fibre optic cable supports the high bandwidth to carry more information with greater fidelity
  • Optical fibre cable compatible - Spans afar and provides speedy data transmission rates between servers and network components
  • With 1000Base-LH technology, enjoy up to 1000Mbps data transfer rate over optical fibre cable
