They support a higher signal-to-noise ratio providing better reliability for existing applications as well as 10Gbps support for higher performance needs into the future.
Cat6A Cable
Cat6A cable is specified by TIA/EIA-568C.2 for enhanced performance standards for twisted pair cable systems. Cat6A cables perform significantly better on the back of these improved specifications, in particular when focused on crosstalk, when compared to Cat6 cables, allowing speeds of up to 10Gbps (versus 1Gbps for Cat6 Cables).
D-Link has opted for enhanced 23 AWG solid bare copper, providing a more reliable and improved performance profile when comparing to the specifications, allowing a 500MHz frequency to support data at 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit Ethernet) speeds.

The 305m cable reel is supplied in licensed REELEX packaging which is the world's preferred method of packaging cables. It offers a unique and patented way of coiling cables without twists, tangles, overruns or pigtails and improves deployment performance.
